My .32 Trail Gun

This is my little Taurus .32 Long double-action revolver. 3" barrel (which is a barrel length I have always favored over longer and shorter ones, in a double action trail gun), adjustable sights, hand-filling grips, and light weight. Wonderful quality too, just like an old model S&W.

hello TRACY,
what does "double action" mean ?
I know very little about guns.

I've been doing some research ... it seems DOUBLE ACTION means the gun can be fired whether the hammer is in an up or down position, am I correct ?

Sorry, I missed this earlier. Yes, double action means you have a choice between cocking the hammer and having a nice light trigger pull, or leaving the hammer down and firing with a long, heavier trigger pull (which uses the trigger action to cock and release the hammer).
